Sigurd Løkeland Inc. (formerly Sigurd Løkeland Canning factory) is today owned and run by the third Løkeland generation. Our main product is fresh, frozen and canned crab, but a good foundation is in place to widen the product spectrum to encompass a greater range of maritime products such as scallops and fresh fish. In addition, work is actively being done to distribute these products across Europe.
The business has as many as 25 employees involved in the production phase of crab products, and the season stretches from August to April.

LOGISTICS
Sigurd Løkeland's production facility lies in Atløy in the municipality of Askvoll in Sogn and Fjordane County. Fresh goods are sent from Atløy at 12:00 pm and arrive in Oslo/Bergen at 4:30 am the next day.
